I want to begin by saying how much I appreciate my hygienist, Emma. I have been seeing her for the last couple of years, and every visit with her has been a genuinely positive experience. She is kind, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and always takes the time to share helpful insight about oral health, hygiene, and overall wellness. I always leave feeling cared for and better informed, and that means a lot.
That being said, I did want to share some honest feedback about the front desk experience. During our most recent visit, the check-in process felt less welcoming than I would have hoped. When we asked questions about the difference between the discount plan and how the pricing worked, the interaction felt tense, and we were left feeling as though we were bothering the staff rather than being helped.
I understand that medical and dental offices can be busy, and I truly respect the amount of work that goes into running an organized practice. However, the front desk is often the first impression of the entire office, and that experience matters. Clear communication, patience, and kindness go a long way in helping patients feel comfortable and respected.
I’m sharing this because I do value the care I receive here, especially from my hygienist, and I believe the overall patient experience would be even stronger if the front desk communication matched the level of care provided by the clinical team.
